This home had the standard horseshoe, "U" shaped kitchen of the 80's-90's. Seems like a good idea, but it keeps everyone locked into the space. By taking out the peninsula area, and using an island design, I opened up the flow and also created some fantastic seating area. A win win for entertaining and cooking!
